How to stop ESB FTPListener with SOA-P 5.x from pulling in huge files?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

When a file is placed in the directory where the FTP listener is listening, it picks up the file and brings the content of the file in the ESB message body. If the file is huge(1GB), memory may be exhausted. Is there a way to stop bringing the content of the file and just get notification, so that a file i/o with bufferedReader can be used?

Environment

  • JBoss Enterprise SOA Platform (SOA-P)
    • 5.x
