Reservation conflicts when trying to backup to tape device
Issue
- Tape backup process starts normally, mounts the tape and then freezes due to some external event
- System logging "reservation conflicts" against the tape device
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.7
- Cisco UCS B440 blades
- FC-based tape via Cisco Nexus 5548
- Netbackup backup software
