OpenShift 4 Node joins cluster with the short name instead of the FQDN
-
When using
oc get nodesa newly added node appears with the short name instead of the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) -
I've manually approved the node's Certificate Signing Request (CSR) where the Common Name (CN) field was the short name (could or could not apply to this solution)
-
A node shows up by its FQDN name, but is in the
NotReadystate (could or could not apply to this solution)
