Error page printed "128 MB of memory is required to enable direct PDF printing"
Issue
Print jobs sent to the HP LaserJet 4250 result in an error page. The error page contains the following:
PDF status page
PDF file not printed. 128 MB of memory is required to enable direct PDF printing.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), all versions
- Common Unix Printing System (CUPS), all versions
- HP LaserJet 4250 printer, although other printers may exhibit this issue
