JBoss fails to start if incorrect password is provided to a AS400/DB2 datasource

Issue

  • I'm using a AS400/DB2 DefaultDS datasource on JBoss.  If an incorrect password is provided to this datasource, JBoss as a whole hangs and fails to start.

Environment

  • JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
  • AS400/DB2 datasource
