  • The trace-cmd agent in daemon mode does not print the port number information and error messages to the console.
[root@localhost ~]# trace-cmd agent -D 
[root@localhost ~]#

OR

[root@localhost ~]# trace-cmd agent -D -p 1234
[root@localhost ~]#

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 9.0 (Plow)
  • trace-cmd
