Issue

  • Oracle instance does not start up if SGA pool size is increased more than a certain limit in the system, and logs are showing the following (similar) message:

Number of resource hash buckets is 8979
skgm warning: ENOSPC creating segment of size 00000000e0000000
fix shm parameters in /etc/system or equivalent
