Unable to retrieve available updates with EOF error in OpenShift 4

Issue

  • Unable to proceed with cluster update.

  • The ClusterVersion shows the following error message for the RetrievedUpdates condition:

    "Unable to retrieve available updates: Get \"https://api.openshift.com/api/upgrades_info/v1/graph?arch=amd64&channel=<CHANNEL>&id=<CLUSTER-ID>&version=<VERSION>\": EOF"

  • The OpenShift web console shows the following error:

    
kb_console_error

    Note: URL query might contain different OpenShift <CHANNEL>, <VERSION> and <CLUSTER-ID>.
