SBD device list showing blank output

Issue

  • Getting error message "sbd failed; please check the logs" after creating / adding new sbd device into cluster.
    - Failed to start sbd.service: Operation refused.
    - sbd -d '' list showing output as a blank shell.

  • Check if you are getting errors while sending/testing messages by sbd devices

# sbd -d /dev/disk/by-id/scsi-0QEMU_QEMU_HARDDISK_drive-scsi0-0-0-1 message node1 test
sbd failed; please check the logs.
