How to make RHEV and RHEL NFS storage failover resistant?

Issue

The timeout on my NFS storage failover is a bit longer 120 seconds, which causes some processes to crash and some RHEV guests to go into pause mode. How can I tune the NFS timeouts to be more than 120 seconds?
