Why Does My Survey Prompt Not Appear In Ansible Automation Controller?

Environment

  • Ansible automation controller 4.x (Ansible Automation Platform 2.x)

Issue

  • When I defined a survey in a Job Template or a Workflow Job Template, it didn’t appear when I launched a job.

Resolution

  • Turn on a switch Survey Disabled to Survey Enabled.

    From:

    disabled by default
    disabled by default

    To:

    turn on the switch
    turn on the switch

Root Cause

  • Since 4.0, the switch is disabled by default when creating a survey.
