Openshift 3 VM in Azure is not using local dnsmasq

Issue

  • When provisioning a Openshift 3.11 node in Azure, the node does not use the local dnsmasq instance in /etc/resolv.conf
  • The resolver used is the one provided by DHCP

Environment

  • Openshift 3.11
  • Microsoft Azure VM
