Why changing the default port of the FMC causes patch installation to fail

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • When the default FMC port is changed from port 8181 to another port, The patches cannot be installed anymore from the Fuse Management Console. After changing the port back, Those patches can be installed again. It seems the 8181 port is hardcoded somewhere.

  • Due to security requirements, Want to change the default port of FMC.

Environment

  • Fuse ESB
    • 7.1
