It is Taking a Really Long Time to Delete Messages from My AMQ 7 Queue. How Can I Speed This Up?

Issue

When I try to delete old messages from a very large queue in my AMQ broker using the Web Console "removeMessages(String)" operation, it is taking a very long time to delete messages. My selector expression looks like:

'AMQTimestamp BETWEEN (0, 1619865912340)'

So far the operation has been running for several hours.
How can we speed this up?
