Prevent application from seeing JBoss's Xerces on the classpath in JBoss EAP 5.x?

We're encountering the following problem with an application (Dozer): [1] Is there a way to prevent the application from seeing this xerces implementation? Alternatively, can those jars (finally) be removed from lib/endorsed?
