Is distcache required when installing EWS in RHEL6?

  • The online documentation of JBoss EWS talks about installing distcache and pcre packages as prerequisites before installing JBoss EWS on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL):
# yum install distcache pcre

  • However, RHEL6 does not have the distcache package as per the following Online Documentation.

  • Should the distcache package be installed while installing JBoss EWS in RHEL6 ?

  • Is the distcache session cache supported in mod_ssl?
