How to access a shared properties file using outside of the JBoss Fuse installation

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • Need to separate application specific xml resource files from bundle so every time when modifying these xml files, there is no need to rebuild the bundle;
  • Both camel property file and application specific xml resource files need to be put on local file system but can not be inside of JBoss Fuse installation.
  • There will be multiple versions of the same bundle deployed in container simultaneously. And these bundles will need to read the camel property file and xml resource files from different folders.

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Fuse
    • 6.x
