Issue
- On large memory numa systems fs.file-max is not set to expected value, defaults to 8192
- Example on system : HP DL980 G7 with 256GB, despite the fact that kernel sees all the memory, fs.file-max is set to the default 8192, which should normally be 1/10 of the memory.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- HP DL980 G7 with 256GB
