Why bond using miimon randomly does not detect a link failure when link is taken offline
Issue
- Bonding of two NIC does not work automatically
- The traffic is not redirected to the working link unless the network interface is restarted using ifdown/ifup
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7

- Network interfaces configured with bonding
