Issue

  • ArgoCD sync failed in API group monitoring.coreos.com resource, such as servicemonitor

  • I got the following error message:

servicemonitors.monitoring.coreos.com "XXX" is forbidden: User "system:serviceaccount:openshift-gitops:openshift-gitops-argocd-application-controller" cannot patch resource "servicemonitors" in API group "monitoring.coreos.com" in the namespace "XXX"
  • How to sync resources of API group monitoring.coreos.com to ArgoCD
