Error while trying to upgrade ROSA cluster to 4.9

Issue

  • An error is returned when trying to upgrade ROSA from 4.8 to 4.9:

    This cluster should not be updated to 4.9. You can continue to update to patch releases in 4.8.
Cluster operator cloud-credential should not be upgraded between minor versions: Upgradeable annotation cloudcredential.openshift.io/upgradeable-to on cloudcredential.operator.openshift.io/cluster object needs updating before upgrade.
