Why guest is not able to recognize the resized storage (lv on the KVM host) after rebooting?
Issue
- Guest storage backed by a logical volume on the host was resized using lvextend. Unfortunately after rebooting the guest, it did not recognize the extended size in /proc/partitions on in "fdisk -l". How can I resolve this?
- Guest was rebooted using "shutdown -r now" or "reboot" command from with in the guest.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- KVM Guest
