Issue

  • Multipath does not create map for newly added single path LUN.
  • Able to list new devices in /dev and fdisk -l output.
    • Device is not mentioned in blacklist section in multipath.conf.

        find_multipaths yes
        user_friendly_names no
}

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6,7
  • device-mapper-multipath
  • Disk/LUN connected with single path
