GDM greeter InfoMsgFile setting in /etc/gdm/custom.conf not working in RHEL6
Issue
- I am trying to set a login banner (aka "greeter") for GDM under RHEL6 using the same method as my working login banner for RHEL5. It is not being honored.
The RHEL5 method was to insert the following lines into /etc/gdm/custom.conf:
[greeter]
InfoMsgFile=/etc/issue

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
