How to configure sender address rewrite and change the user name
Issue
- How to configure sendmail server to rewrite the sender address and the display name
- An application sends emails from the root user
- When sending an email with the command
mail xyz@example.com, we receive the following:
From: root <root@aaa.example.com>
Sent: Tue, Mar 19, 2013 at 2:08 PM
To: xyz@bbb.example.com
Subject: test
but we would like the email to rewrite the sender like this:
From: Admin <admin@example2.com>
Sent: Tue, Mar 19, 2013 at 2:08 PM
To: xyz@bbb.example.com
