How to configure nautilus not to mount subdirectories?

Issue

Nautilus tries to mount sub directories while accessing an automount point configured as browse enabled
This is problem while accessing any browse enabled automount point with multiple directories in it. Nautilus tries to mount all the subdirectories.
Is there any way to configure nautilus to prevent automount of subdirectories?
