Quay operator deployment not progressing during an upgrade

Issue

  • The Quay Operator upgrade is not working due to the following error:
all Kubernetes objects not created/updated successfully: Deployment.apps "quayecosystem-mgm-clair-app" is invalid: [spec.template.spec.volumes[1].secret.secretName: Required value, spec.template.spec.volumes[1].projected: Forbidden: may not specify more than 1 volume type, spec.template.spec.containers[0].volumeMounts[1].name: Not found: "certs"]

  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) 4.6
  • Red Hat Quay Operator 3.6
