System commands on filesystems return Input/output error

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

The command ls -l returns I/O errors for some files, while a plain ls works:

ls -l /usr/lib64/perl5/GSSAPI/OID.pm
ls: /usr/lib64/perl5/GSSAPI/OID.pm: Input/output error
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root 2341 Feb  2  2008 /usr/lib64/perl5/GSSAPI/OID.pm
