Network interface issues due '70-persistent-net.rules' after kickstart installation in RHEL6

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

After install a server with a kickstart, the network interfaces are fine and working properly, but after a reboot, eth0 is getting assigned with a different physical card and MAC address which appears to be due to the 70-persistent-net.rules file. After remove the 70-persistent-net.rules and perform a reboot, the system operates as expected.

Is this behavior expected?
