Insights inventory sync task on Red Hat Satellite fails with error duplicate key value violates unique constraint "index_host_status_on_type_and_host_id"

Issue

  • When auto upload/sync is enabled on the satellite, the insights inventory task fails with below error

    PG::UniqueViolation: ERROR:  duplicate key value violates unique constraint "index_host_status_on_type_and_host_id"
DETAIL:  Key (type, host_id)=(InventorySync::InventoryStatus, 1052) already exists.
