Receiving "Connected" and "Disconnected" snmp traps from corosync too often on Red Hat Enterprise Linux

Issue

  • When corosync-notifyd is running I get spammed with traps from clulog every second.Is there anyway to filter out the corosyncNoticesAppStatus messages, or at least these clulog ones?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6 (with the High Availability Add on)
  • SNMP traps configured for Red Hat Clustering using method similar to following this article or following the admin guide
  • Zabbix or similar monitoring tool is consuming traps processed by snmptrapd using "traphandle" option
