Interface showing as down and is showing errors when starting

Issue

  • After restarting system it shows error - kernel: bnx2: fw sync timeout, reset code = 5030003 OR reset code = 5020002

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.10
  • Broadcom NIC (bnx2)
