Using SASL authentication in qpid with non-standard SASL configuration does not work

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

When using authentication (SASL), with a non-default SASL configuration, it produces authentication failures. Copying the same file to default location (/etc/sasl2/qpidd.conf) and commenting out sasl-config option allows me to authenticate.

In both cases, the contents of the qpidd sasl config file and qpid sasl db are the same. It's just the location of the sasl conf file that is different.

Is this a bug?
