Whenever start networking the following error is seen

Bringing up loopback interface:                            [  OK  ]
Bringing up interface bond0:  ./network-functions: line 446: /sys/class/net/bond0/bonding/bond0: No such file or directory
./network-functions: line 446: /sys/class/net/bond0/bonding/bond0: No such file or directory
                                                           [  OK  ]
