Can NetworkManager log DHCP requests?

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

In cases where network interfaces configured with dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) are not receiving an IP, or are not receiving an IP within the expected timeframe, it may be necessary to capture data regarding the status of these requests. This can be performed with a packet capture, but this raises other performance and security concerns when attempting to capture data on an intermittent problem.

NetworkManager's internal journal logging can be used to capture some of this data for troubleshooting purposes.
