Issue

  • The Network Manager Wait Online unit will show failed after the boot of an OSP 16.1 compute node with OVS DPDK that is utilizing Mellanox NIC cards for DPDK ports

Environment

  • Red Hat OpenStack (OSP) 16.1
  • Compute node with Mellanox CX5 network card configured with ports using OVS DPDK (Open vSwitch Dataplane Development Platform Kit).
