IP address and FQDN are not displayed in RHV-M, Virtual Machines randomly marked with "The latest guest agent needs to be installed and running on the guest" warning

Issue

  • Several VMs don't display their IP address or FQDN in RHV-M.
  • The VMs have a exclamation mark '!' icon indicating that the latest guest addition needs to be installed, but the latest guest agent is already installed.
