How to configure JON to deal with active / passive setup of JBoss Fuse

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

I've setup two JBoss Fuse 6.0 containers as a master/slave pair.
I.e. I have two instances of JBoss Fuse on two different nodes but they compete for the same Karaf and ActiveMQ (KahaDB) lock.

The slave instance of JBoss Fuse 6.0 will start up fully until it gains the karaf lock and thereafter the lock for ActiveMQ (KahaDB.) While this scenario works fine, making JON understand the setup seems to be difficult. How to configure JON so that it recognizes these two instances as a master/slave pair?

Environment

  • JBoss Fuse 6.*
  • JBoss A-MQ 6.*
  • JBoss Operational Network (JON)
