Path failures and SCSI aborts/resets when using multipath in RHEL 5 Update 6 and earlier with HP HSV340 or HSV360
Issue
- The server has issues whith the I/O related to Database. Reviewing the logs of the Operating System there are certain errors related to Qlogic modules and disconnected ports.
- Seeing path failures, SCSI aborts and resets, and/or
qla2xxxerrors with my HSV340

kernel: qla2xxx 0000:04:00.1: scsi(2:8:0): LOOP RESET ISSUED.
