Unable to configure a custom domain using the Red Hat Single Sign-On (RH SSO) Operator

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • It seems that the configured host in .spec.externalAccess.host is not respected. The default cluster domain is used instead.

  • When specifying the host while adding a new Keycloak Custom Resource Definition (CRD) in the RH SSO 7.5 GA Operator, the following error message is displayed after clicking on the .yaml: Setting Host in External Access on OpenShift is prohibited.

Environment

  • Red Hat Single Sign-On (RH SSO)
    • 7.X (Operator)
  • OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
    • 4.X
