MetaMatrix XML SOAP Connector Web Service Connector Binding Unexpectedly Crashing

Issue

On our integration system, we are experiencing one of our web service connector bindings just stop working.
For example, over this past weekend, the connector died without writing an error to any log. When we came in today and tested it, the connection test timed out.
However, when we restarted the connector binding, the connection was re-established and the test passed.
