Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Since the upgrade to RHEL6.5 our syslog is flooded with these messages:
Nov 24 03:13:15 node1 rgmanager[11645]: [fs] Device /dev/dm-18 is mounted on /myexports /var/lib/nfs/statd instead of /myexports
Nov 24 03:13:46 node1 rgmanager[12299]: [fs] Device /dev/dm-18 is mounted on /myexports /var/lib/nfs/statd instead of /myexports

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 with the High Availability Add On
  • rgmanager
  • resource-agents-3.9.2-40.el6 or later up to but not including release 3.9.5-12.el6
  • One or more <fs>, <clusterfs>, or <netfs> resources exported via NFS version 4 using <nfsserver> and <nfsclient> resources in /etc/cluster/cluster.conf
    • <fs>, <clusterfs>, or <netfs> resources in question have use_findmnt="1" (which is the default, if unspecified)
