Why is emacs utilizing much memory and CPU on RHEL6?
Issue
- Emacs is consuming CPU/memory resources after it was
- started on a remote host and set to run in the background
- the ssh session to the remote host was terminated (i.e. '
kill <pid_of_sshsession>')
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6
