Issue

  • kernel-xxxx extension failed to install on a worker node.

  • Rolling back to the previous render file failed with the error Package/capability 'kernel-xxxx' is not currently requested.

  • Machine Config Pool (MCP) is stuck in a degraded state due to error: error running rpm-ostree update uninstall kernel-xxxx kernel-xxxx: exit status 1 (or error running rpm-ostree update --uninstall kernel-xxxx --uninstall kernel-xxxx: exit status 1).
