Change from IDE to SCSI disk for RHEL VM hosted on Hyper-V

Issue

• We are running RHEL VM on Windows Hyper-V. We would like to change the disk type from IDE to SCSI.

  While Microsoft said that they can maintain the data in the disk even changing the disk type.

  Please advise if RHEL can cope with this change. Note that one of the disks contains rootlv.
