In Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 Starting ipmievd Creates a World Writable PID file
Issue
When starting ipmievd the resulting pid file in /var/run is world writable.
# service ipmievd start
# ls -l /var/run/ipmievd.pid
-rw-rw-rw- 1 root root 6 Sep 21 14:38 /var/run/ipmievd.pid

- ipmitool-1.8.11-7.el6
