Issue

  • How to prevent yum update from downloading some *.conf files under /etc/httpd/conf.d directory?
  • Can we just leave an empty perl.conf file under /etc/httpd/conf.d/ directory?  This way yum/rpm won't overwrite it?  what do you think?

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.7
