When editing assets using REST API, KnowledgeAgent does not pick up changes ?

Issue

New version of asset is uploaded into the Guvnor using REST API, however, KnowledgeAgent does not pick up the new version and still uses the old one. What could be the reason behind this behaviour and how to ensure that the new version of the asset is used instead?
