Why can't I disable automount on directories with the '-null' option?
Issue
- attempt to disable automount on directory
-
using something similar in my auto.master file:
[root@redhat ~]# grep null /etc/auto.master /test -null -
using autofs-4.1.3-231 or later where the -null option was available
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 or later
- autofs-4.1.3-231 or later
