Storage Live Migration fails after creating snapshot
Issue
- Once the storage live migration begins the snapshot is created, but the task immediately fails out with little to no error messages.
- Snapshot creation fails with the following error in
vdsm.log
libvirtError: unsupported configuration: source for disk 'vdb' is not a regular file; refusing to generate external snapshot name
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.2
